Transitions (lining up, waiting for a snack, clean up, going outside, etc.) are rich opportunities for learning!
Planning is required to use take advantage of these opportunities and embed learning and behavioral
objectives. Describe at least three activities during transition times that you observed that embedded learning
and behavioral objectives. Be sure to identify the objective(s) in measureable terms. Were they effective?
Why or why not? What was the social/emotional impact of the activities? What do you think would have
been the social and emotional impact had the activities not been planned?
